Description

This module emphasises the live production of news in a variety of styles, situations and formats appropriate to radio, television and on-line. Writing and news gathering skills will be developed for broadcast and the web.Students will compile radio news bulletins and produce on-line content under conditions which simulate a professional working environment.The module examines the theoretical and practical implications of social media and students will learn how to create web pages, infographics and use hyperlinks. Multimedia features will be produced, as well as on-the day news to `real world' deadlines.
